The Makita P-36902 is a single Sanding Belts, 100mm wide and 610mm in length with a 80 Grit rating. The grit size is determined by the number of holes per square inch required by a sieve designed to collect the grit.
The smaller the number, the coarser the cut. A coated abrasive comprises 3 major components; abrasive grit, specific to the application; backing material to hold the abrasive and a bonding agent to glue the grit to backing.
The quality of the materials and manufacturing method are critical factors in matching long life with fast cutting performance. Compatible with Makita 9401 9403 9404 9924DB: HiKOKI and Ryobi.
