The Makita GA012G (115mm) cordless paddle-switch angle grinders powered by a 40v Max XGT lithium-ion battery. These strong grinders are proof of the added value of XGT. In addition, they are also user-friendly. The new protective cover can be adjusted quickly, easily and without tools. Safety has also been considered, both grinders are equipped with Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT). AFT is activated in case of a sudden reduction in speed or when the grinding wheel is clamped in the material and switches the machine off automatically preventing user injuries. These are extra safe machines, equipped with a brake that makes the disc come to a standstill incredibly quickly.
Ideal for high demand professional users. The 40v Max DC motor delivers more power and run time. Featuring Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT): Automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation.
BL4040 40v Max XGT 4.0Ah Li-Ion Battery
The Makita BL4040 XGT 40v Max 4.0Ah Li-ion battery is equipped with an LED indicator that shows the remaining capacity of the battery. The machine also responds directly to the status of the battery. Depending on the status of the battery, the power supply to the machine is optimized. The charger gives the most optimized charge to the battery depending on the status of the battery.
In combination with the DC40RA fast charger, the BL4040 battery is fully charged in just 45 minutes. In addition, the battery is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions such as water and dust. The higher battery output is a genuine solution for heavy industrial users allowing for continuous high demand activity over extended periods of time.
