Effective workplace health and safety programmes can save lives by reducing hazards and their possible consequences. They can also have positive effects on both the morale productivity of workers. The Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) is developing an action plan to promote and educate all interest groups in adopting an OSH culture and achieve compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health legislation.
