WINSTON CHURCHILL Last weekend, on Sunday 28th June,2015, the Krishna Mandir, located on Todd Street, San Fernando held their 63rd Anniversary Celebrations. The programme included worship, an award presentation segment and a number of highly entertaining cultural items such as, a very compelling performance by the Palmyra Hindu School. The Southern Supplies Group of Companies, along with some other very generous hearts, were honored for their unwavering support and continued commitment to the Mandir and it’s endeavors.

The Knox Street Sports and Cultural foundation in conjunction with the Krishna Mandir hosts an annual Ramleela celebration at the Robin Recreational Park, formally known as Knox Street Recreational Park. The celebrations have been a yearly event since 2001 and Southern Supplies Limited has been one of the main sponsors of the event for the last 14 years. The event ran for three days Friday, Saturday and Sunday and patrons to the event witnessed a cultural masterpiece portrayed by the brave children of the Krishna Mandir youth group, devotees of the Mandir, Children from San Fernando and environs along with other supporters of the event.

On Saturday 13th June, 2015, Fluor Daniel hosted their 7th Annual Curry Duck Cook off at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva. Supporters and participants of the event included; British Gas Trinidad Limited (BGTT), Carillion Caribbean Limited, Fluor Danniel, Junior Sammy Contractors Limited, Massy Wood Group, Plant Solutions Limited, South Coast Medical Services, Third Party Inspection (TPI), Trinidad Offshore Contractors Limited and Southern Supplies Limited (SSL).
