Southern Supplies Group of Companies pays tribute to the St Philomena Baptist Church, as they celebrate 41 years in existence, March 2016.

The Spiritual/Shouter Baptist Liberation Day Holiday is held to commemorate the repeal on March 30th, 1951 of the 1917 Shouter Prohibition Ordinance, which prohibited the activities of the Spiritual/Shouter Baptist Faith.

Today, members of the Spiritual/Shouter Baptist faith are free to practice their religion!

This year, the Southern Supplies Group of Companies would like to pay tribute to the St Philomena Baptist Church, located in Cocoyea, as they celebrate 41 years in existence.

We are visited by the very humble Mother Joyce Simon, who imparted many years of wisdom unto us. She also collected a cheque on behalf of the Church's leader, Bishop Oswald Duncan, to assist with Grand Celebrations carded for the day of the holiday.

Thank you so much Mother Simon for your time and consideration. We wish you and the entire Baptist Community a very joyous and triumphant Liberation Day! Let the bells ring.. Let the sounds of rejoicing be heard..
